Free Summer FoodTitle I Committee MeetingTitle l Committee Members, Centerville ES Accountability ReportFrom the PrincipalApril 13th, 2012 We are at the sprint point in preparing for the CRCT. It is not time to slow down but time to focus on areas that will most impact student achievement. Each teacher has detailed plans leading up to test time. It is very important that your child be at school on time and ready to learn every day but even more so for the remaining of April. Tardiness puts students behind and they have a hard time catching up. We will be giving away a bicycle again this year for students who have perfect attendance and zero tardies for the week of April 23 – 27. This is for all grades. Each student who meets the requirements will have their name entered into the drawing. The Taste of Shiloh is coming up on April 21. You can purchase advance tickets for $9 ($10 day of the Taste) through the PTA. Simply send the money to school in an envelope with the number of “Taste” tickets you want. One ticket is enough for two people to share. If you have time and would like to volunteer, we are in need of about 20 adults to help. The 5K race still has space available for runners and walkers. There is a form in this week’s Friday Folder if you are interested or you can pass it to someone who is. This is a great community event! I hope to see you all there. As always please feel free to stop by or call if you have ideas to make Centerville even better!
